US Airways sees significant Q2 unit revenues drop

WASHINGTON, May 11 (Reuters) - US Airways Group Inc. (NYSE:U - news) predicted on Friday that its second quarter unit revenues will be down ``significantly'' as the airline industry experiences a drop in business travel because of the slowing economy.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company added that it expected unit costs, excluding fuel, for the quarter ending June 30 to improve year-over year.
