What is your opinion of the best US Club of them all? Are there any unique amenities at some and not others?

I haven't been to many yet ...
The main CLT club is nice because it's so spacious, but nothing special I think ...
I like the MCO club with it's two story design, I think it's pretty cool and unique http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

LGA.. not particularly the best club, but considering the heckhole that LGA usually is with delays, its a welcome oasis.

Is it any surprise that I would throw my 2 cents in for the PHL club above the Marketplace(between B and C).
I got to check out the PIT club in B last week, which was an interesting design with all the sectioned off sitting areas. I felt like a mouse running through a maze for the cheese(and crackers).

Washington DCA has a nice club, but I didn't like the staff (contrary to many other FT'ers who adore the staff).
I like the PHL club. The two entrance idea is cool.
BOS and LGA have been renovated recently. The CLT B/C club is nice, but the club inside the B concourse is too small and cramped.
TPA's club is really too small, but they are currently building a new one.
Has anyone noticed the new trend to provide windows not only to the planes for planespotters, but also windows over the regular terminal to peoplewatch (or possibly show you what the great unwashed look like and how glad you are to be in the club http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif)? Both DCA and PHL have big windows overlooking the regular concourse (peoplewatching) in addition to windows over the apron areas (planewatching).

Has anyone been to the new West Palm Beach Club since it was re-opened in April? How is it? How about Hartford?

SFO has a very cool, spacious and empty club right above the gates.
Last tine I was there they even had Joghurts for desert and the staff is friendly as well.
Charlottes main club is pretty and the new PHL club is nice especially compared to the old ones they had before.
In PIT I found the smaller clubs at the concourses nicer, less crowded and with nicer gatekeepers ( sorry but PIT sometimes is a little bit rough seems like they get to many people who try to sneek in)

I enjoy my home club in BOS. I like the design and the overall "look" of things there. I also like the DCA club. I've not had extremely positive or negative experieces with the staff, but I've ALWAYS been reminded not to miss my flight, which always came across as a bit "odd" to me. The PHL club is nice, too.
I thought the MCO club was a bit small, and their fountain soda was flat last time I was there. I don't like the CLE club at all--no windows! LAX and PIT are what I'd consider to be "average" in the middle of the road of US Airways Clubs.

Bizjet: I think you mean the Club that straddles the C and D concourses.. not B and C. The club on B I agree is not so special and not very far away from the big one..

I like the SFO club primarily because it sits overlooking many of the overseas 747 and other larger craft. Or maybe it's just that I've spent so much time there it's become like a second home. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
BOS is nice and roomy. BDL seemed rather cramped. I like the spiral staircase at Orlando. PHL is nice, but it's the busiest one I've ever been too and sometimes seems like one of the gates...ok, not quite that bad.

I cast my vote for PHL. As a matter of fact I am sitting in the club there right now. The bartenders are great, especially my good friend Karina, who works Tues-Fri. And Shirley and Linda at the desk are absolute angels.
The PIT clubs are ok too, and the one in BWI is good. Is the renovation done? The agents there are sweet.

DCA's the one. Great view of downtown DC in the smoking area.

No surprise here - I'd go with the US Airways Club located between the C&D Concourses in Charlotte. But I'd give a second to PHL, and a third to SFO.

I'm in and out of DCA all the time. Friendly reception staff with a very nice club (good views). My only complaint would be that the best section of the club with regards to view is reserved for smokers (I don't smoke and can't tolerate it personally). The big clubs at the hubs are nice. Renovated clubs in LGA and BOS are fine. West coast clubs LAX and SFO are quiet but I've always felt welcome there.

DCA wins hands down, followed by CLT, PHL, BOS and SFO. Don't particularly care for the two story job in MCO. I found it cramped and awkward, particularly if you have luggage. It's definitely not the best Club to be stuck in when there's a snowstorm in the Northeast and everything's delayed or cancelled. Too close for comfort...

I have to place a second vote--for PIT Concourse A. I had a misconnect in PIT today, and as a matter of fact I write this from the club. I am here for 5 hours. I have a confirmed upgrade on a flight next week and a meal voucher, along with a smile and an apology from the wonderful ladies at this club.
