I'm booking an award ticket and have come up short by 1,200 miles. Besides making a quick flight somewhere does anyone have other suggestions for making a couple thousand quick bonus miles in the next day or so?

I already have the email statement bonus.

This is where having Starwood or AMEX Membership Miles memberships. You can transfer any points in those program at a 1:1 ratio into USAirways(among others).

Call the Dividend Miles center and ask if there is anyway you can pay for the needed 1200 points or just have them waive it.

Some airlines allow you to buy up to 20% of the ff miles when you are short. They usually charge $25/ 1000 ff miles.

I called and they extended the deadline date which I need to have the miles by.

I forgot to ask if I can use AA miles to fill in. From the web site it seems that they can't be used for premium international awards.
