A friend of mine is flying coach(EEECK!) over the Atlantic on a US 767. Are there video screens hanging in the aisles, or just the big ones in the front of each cabin section. He's in row 27, and it looks pretty far back from the bulkhead.

Just the big ones. If I remember correctly, the bulkhead seats in coach (no view of the the big screen) have mini-screens on the bulkhead wall.

geo1004 is correct, except that they obviously are only on the window/aisle pairs of the bulkhead. The center section of the bulkhead is too close to see the video screen.
I do think there are tv screens up and down the aisles too, but I'm not really sure.

Tell your friend he doesn't want the emergency exit seats (not that he's got them).
Don't recall any over-aisle monitors. I think it's the projection screen only.

I was on a 767 a few weeks back, and if I remember correctly, there are 3 monitors haging over the aisles and center section about 3/4 of the way back in the rear coach cabin.

You can only watch movies on the "big" screen with the exception of the bulk heads. Even up front is not that great, 767 only has 2 classes and Envoy videos are old and small. Worse is you have to sit up and hunch over the video because you can't move it very much. Will still have to try out the Sony P@ssport system one day. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif
