DL, UA, AA among others.
See the individual airline forums for more/better info than can be provided here.
BTW, welcome to FlyerTalk.

A couple of years ago, US Air sent out "million mile" luggage tags. I still have mine somewhere. I believe that at one time, they kept track.

I think it exists (or existed)... a month or so ago at DCA I was on one of those shuttle busses with a woman who had a black leather "Million miles" tag from US... or at least I'm pretty sure it was from US. By the time I noticed it it was too late to ask about it! I don't know if it imparts any benefits aside from the tags, though :-)

Ask them. They'll deny it. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

I have not asked US Airways, yet. But, I am getting extremely close to 1 million.

How did/does the counting of the 1 million miles work? Is it your total historical balance.....are reward ticket miles added back in or not? Does anyone know?

I believe it depends on the airline. AA has the most lax policy, counting all earned miles (including bonuses, mileage from their credit card, etc.), while the others (DL and UA) only count actual flown mileage (not sure if that includes the 500 mile minimum though). I have no idea what policy US had since I only started flying 4 years ago. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

I think it was pretty lax. United will not want to extend that to any CP's who come over and get reciprocal 1K. UA appears to have a sub-category of 1K which prints out "million miler" on boarding cards. Presumably, they get things ahead of a normal 1K.
