View Full Version : US Airways Gets Nod to Launch Brussels Service

US Airways has received U.S. Department of Transportation and Belgian government approval to begin new nonstop daily roundtrip service to Brussels from Philadelphia, beginning May 9, 2001. The first flight from Brussels will depart on May 10, 2001.

Brussels, US Airways' ninth European destination, is the seat of the European Commission and a center of European commerce and government.

The new flight will depart daily from Philadelphia at 8:15 p.m., and will arrive in Brussels at 10 a.m., the following morning. From Brussels, the flight will depart at 12:15 p.m., and will arrive in Philadelphia at 3 p.m. US Airways will operate the new service with the 203-seat Boeing 767-200 aircraft.

Any rumors re: introductory fares?
