I am not sure how many others have had questions on the auction rules now on usair.com, but I was quite confused. Here is the reply I received from US Airways:

receive "The Ultra-Deluxe Winter Escape (bidding starts at 120,000 miles)" and
the second winner will receive "The Deluxe Winter Escape (bidding starts at
70,000 miles)." The winners of these auctions will be the members who place the
highest bids for each package by 12:00 noon EST on November 30, 2000. To view
the current highest bid for each of these auctions, please go to http://www.usairways.com/dividendmiles/offers/oct00nl/sdauction_bids.htm .

There will be one winner for the Aruba auction. The winner will receive a 4-day
3-night vacation package to Aruba. The winner of this auction will be the
member who places the highest bid for the Aruba package by 12:00 noon EST on
November 30, 2000. To view the current highest bid for each of these auctions,
