Hello,

As long has been rumored with the arrival of the A-330's, 767s will (are?) be used transcon. I just picked a random date in mid August and found the 5pm flight from PHL-LAX and the 7am flight from LAX-PHL are now 767s.

So now you can have the comfort of a personal video screen and more seats to upgrade on a transcon http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Does this mean that US (as long as it's around) will be offering a domestic Envoy product, similiar to what Delta has done with Biz Elite on their transcon flights?

send the 767's to SFO and I'll be a happy man. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

On the LAX-PHL routing, is it the same 767 each way? If it is, then isn't the plane going to be sitting idle at LAX for about 12 hours?

Yes. It will sit overnight at LAX (11 hours). The 767 is probably too big to use for a red eye to PIT, CLT, or PHL. They will save it for the heavy loads of the 7 a.m. flight.
