Anyone know what's going on with the issuance of the new Div. Miles numbers? I haven't gotten anything in the mail yet, or my new card and number, but my boarding pass had the new # on it when I flew to JAX on Monday, and back today. Completely screwed me up, and had me going back to agent to check on why my DM # wasn't on my boarding pass, only to be told that it was, with explanation of new numbers. Anyone get any explanation yet? Perhaps they have told preferred already (just missed this year).

DJ- New Div. Miles numbers are "SABRE friendly". They match up with the new reservation system U put in place last year. I just got my new card and sure enough...new number.

One other thing DJ- if you "almost" made Preffered for this year, call the ff service center and ASK if there are any "promotions" available under which you might earn preferred status since you were so close to earning it (i.e. fly 7,500 mile b/w now and March 31st, etc.), explaining you will be doing a lot of travel this year and U would be your "carrier of choice...".
