Upgrade Coupons and Multi-City Tickets
Does anyone know if one class upgrade coupons are compatible with multi-city tickets? I've been having mixed results with agents being able to upgrade multi-city tickets using upgrade coupons and just want a definitive answer for future reference.

AGR changed the upgrade coupon language from "trip" to "segment" thereby ruling out fully legal multi-city ticket trips on Amtrak. You can use a coupon for only one segment of a multi-city trip. Before the change, I regularly went on a trip of 2-3 segments one one upgrade coupon.
