TQP accumulation when Select - question

Once you hit Select, and get the 25% bonus points on train travel, does that 25% count as tqp? Is a roundtrip on Acela then worth 1250 tqp instead of just 1000?

Thanks.

Your thought process is exactly how it should be and would offer greater value to Amtrak customers in my opinion versus earned free travel. TQP bonus shows Amtrak truly appreciates loyal customers and wants to reward them with easier chance to move up rewards level ladder.

Amtrak's worry would be how much quicker Acela riders would be able to get to higher level than they do now. But for many of us in Midwest - a TQP bonus helps us achieve increased level goal a bit easier.
