how does the 18K AGR Chase MasterCard work ?

I signed up for the Chase MasterCard, which supposedly gives me
18K miles, 9000 to my Chase account, and 9000 "directly to Amtrak".
So far, 9000 has posted to my Chase account, and that was immediately
and automatically transferred to Amtrak. So I'm not quite sure WHICH
of my 9000 points this is, and which is missing.

I called Chase, and the guy said I was only entitled to 9000.
Oh well. Any magic words I can say to get the other 9000 ?

You'll get a 2nd 9k posting from Amtrak into your AGR account.
