Hold on a second -- fine print says this:
Offer is non-transferable and valid for addressee only.

Yes and I was able to access my account with a point total on the same screen as the offer. I asked them to research it and make certain and note the account that I was eligible.

The transfer ratio is still not good. I still rather use my AMEX SPG for SPG points.

So, that begs the question, what to do with all the 100's of thousands of MR points I have... I'd love to get them over to AA, or use them for something valuable... I only recently switched to Amex SPG

Sure. But how about 1 - > 1.95 for Hilton ? tHat seems like a relative bargain.

There are other airlines that you can convert 1:1 or similar -VS, SQ, Southwest, ...
