Your name and e-mail-address are enough.
You receive an automatic confirmation (in english - I think it is directly from
Amadeus).
One day later I also received another confirmation in Swedish.
You can check the reservation through the Amadeus-Code (http://www.checkmytrip.com) or through the confirmation number of the hotel (works at least with Ritz-Carlton).
for some reason i was thinking plat gets sony cierge now as well, instead of sony vip, but it still says the latter on the plat website. thought i even posted about it. am i going crazy?
This is the last thread that I have seen any reference to contact info (see post 25 and beyond). The address is still correct, though mia pointed out that the name is probably out of date. Nonetheless, you could simply address the envelope to:
Senior Vice-President, Customer Relations
777 American Express Way
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 33337
You could also try calling the regular AmEx number on the back of your card and ask who took over for Doria Camaraza.

Is there really no way to check FHR rates online anymore? I used the French site about two months ago (so after it was posted here that it would not work) but now it seems to be down for maintenance all the time.
Not sure why those rates are such a secret and you have to call AMEX to find out. Why don't they have a simply online booking engine for those hotels for all the card holders?!?
