Yes, to make sure I was not going off a bad memory I checked on the AX website MR calculator to verify the exchange rate (not as good as the 2-1 through HA but better than 1-1)

If you would like to use the AmEx Online system,you can use DE CENT/PLAT or FR online website.

If you use that systems, you can know some rates(FHR,SLH,Centurion program rates,etc)

the number of cardholders..

US has way more than DE,FR,SE combined.. either for plat or cent.

are there any free AMADEUS online portal/search things in the US?

theyd have to develop the infrastructure and have tech support.

maybe its just random / policy, like US not having SLH contract etc, and some companies doing some things strictly over phone or internet etc.

who knows..
