Amex Account Manager: Any Consequences?

Being an account manager isn't the same as getting a card issued in your name on the other person's account. I'm a manager on two cards for my boss. Amex took my dob and ssn, but I didn't see a pull. This was 2.5 years ago, though, so someone with more recent experience could tell you.

(I know that's what the OP meant based on their "thinking about Chase 5/24" comment. Chase 5/24 counts bank card accounts on your credit report that show an "opened on" date in the past 24 months.)

OP is asking about Account Manager, which is a very specific feature at Amex... the answer is no. Nominating someone as an Account Manager does not make the account show up on their credit report. It gives them the ability to take actions on the account, but they do not receive a card, nor does it show up on their credit report.
