The new AMEX Centurion Lounge @ HKG is located at the previous VS lounge, adjacent to United Club. The Centurion Lounge HKG is designed by Legend Interiors, who is also responsible for QA lounges and the recent CX lounges renovation at HKG. The lounge is operated by Plaza Premium Lounge.

FWIW - there is a reason why the permit expires in September.
What's that?

Think they are referring to the permit, and being confused on what it is for.

To clarify, I think they are referring to the building permit which they need to use for construction of the lounge. Since the permit expires in September, we can assume that construction will not finish until atleast that time.

This is a truly ... moment.

To be fair, all the US Centurion Lounges are also operated by a third party. (Don't remember the name of the company, though it has been identified previously in another thread on FT.)

This was not my concern.

In fact, with PPL running the Centurion Lounge, you can get your expectation from their existing lounges, which most of them are great, but not that great.

I will check it early next month and update accordingly.

However - I am still skeptical regarding its opening date.

CX has outsourced the F&B at their HKG business class lounges to Plaza Premium, correct? Keeping expectations in check, I'd say it's probably up for debate whether the US Centurion Lounges are even as good.

Where is it located? Is this near the Plaza lounge at gate 40?
I might swing by on Sun and take some more pics.
