I just applied last week for SPG Business card with 25,000 bonus. Tried to get them match the increased offer via chat, but it was no go. They have no way of adjusting signup offers according to the rep.

I was just told the same thing. I think they are all on the same page on this one. Yet another sign that these banks are finally getting around to battening down all our favorite hatches. Well played.

Well, looks like its time for me to get the Personal card. And here I thought I was going to have to wait until this summer for the 30k offer. Going to wait a bit since I'm still working on my Chase Ink and I don't want to get buried in gift cards...

Well they just forwarded my request for a match to the marketing department ... not sure what good that will do, if any.

amex won't match, but you might be able to request courtesy points

Yours is showing 25k...just like mine. I referred a bunch of people and then realized Amex didn't update the referral offer yet (or won't, at all?)

Nothing special required. Answer all questions accurately. American Express does not particularly care if you have a business, but you must tell them that you do to obtain a "business" card because such cards have fewer consumer protections.

Where can I find the link to refer a friend for the BUSINESS card? I can only seem to locate a link to refer the personal card. Any guidance? Thanks.
