Amex Plat CDW vs Chase Sapphire/Explorer CDW

I will be doing some rentals in the USA and Ireland and I see my Chase Sapphire and Explorer both offer primary CDW. The Amex Business Plat offers a secondary coverage (but in my case it would be primary as I don't have a vehicle in the USA).
What are the differences between the 2 in terms of coverage? For example, does one cover towing (if the car got stuck but was not damaged in any way) vs the other? Are more cars covered on one than the other? Has anyone had to deal with Amex or Chase with a claim and can share their experience?
I'm just thinking which car I should use for the rental.

Thanks

you cld ask Gary Leff, he wrote an article on the CSP product, published today

i've been using the CSP over the amex plat, but if late, but within four hour limit benefit the plat gives you, i've swung the payment over on to the amex.

The CSP will get 2x (for travel) vs 1x on the AMEX. AMEX does have premium roadside assistance but that isn't for rental cars. You'd be better off with the CSP for rental cars.

Have you looked at Amex's Premium Car Rental Protection?

I think Sant is trying to say AMEX will not cover your vehicle in Ireland so the CSP w/ 2x bonus is clearly the winner chicken dinner

Yup. Read the coverage terms and it looks like Ireland will have to be the Sapphire.

How would the Citi Premier/Prestige compare in these circumstances if anyone knows?
