There's a 75K offer for the Business Gold card, but 50K is the best I've seen on the Personal Gold (PRG). I got it at 50K 2 years ago. I've never seen higher than 50K in the 3-4 years I've followed such things.

In Summer 2011, there was an offer for 75K Amex PRG after $1000 spend in 3 months. Those were the times

You have a valid link for that 75k offer? (New Amex customer)

Took a while to get the 50K offer but I finally got it. Applied and received confirmation. It'll be interesting to see if the "may not be eligible" statement holds true for me, as I have other AMEX cards. Anyhow, no skin off my back if it doesn't work, I'll just cancel the card.

Statement date is in the future. No statement closed. Would guess it closes mid next month.

Did you really have the card back in 2011? Or another Amex card? Assuming you knew about the once in a lifetime rule, that's the risk you had to make.

Sorry for being dense, but having applied for that card without logging in, I'm stuck with a brand new amex web account and no MR enrollment of the new card. Do you set up a new MR account or is it safe to associate the new card with the existing web/MR account?
(The new web account says "member since 99," so it's not like they don't know that I was an existing customer, but if the purpose was to land 50K points and the offer said existing customers didn't qualify, I'm hesitant to give them too many clues ...)
Thanks.
