Targeted: Canadian Amex Plat special offer at Sporting Life

Wife and I both received offer from Amex Plat. One was $50 gc at Sporting Life, the other is 20% off total purchase. Assume this is Canadian offer only. Wonder if this is a sign that will start rolling out additional/new benefits for plat?

I am a Canadian Amex Plat holder but did not receive any offer for Sporting Life.

Spouse and I got those by snail mail for Sporting Life, useless because a) none in Montreal and b) that fashion style is not my thing. At all.

I have no sporting life coupon, but instead $50 credit(? can't remember) upon spending $500 at the new Delta Toronto Hotel.

But I don't intend to stay at any hotel within walking distance of my place! Can they at least do a postal code match?

It is personalized offer with my card number.

EDIT: Sporting life coupon arrived today. The $50 off is good for any purchase over $50, excluding a few brands such as those popular winter jackets.

I received both the Delta and Sporting Life offer. Here's the deal about Sporting Life's - the 20% off expires today, and I only received it in the mail today..

Delta offer also doesn't make sense for me; I'm already at DT Toronto.
