It appears that this Hilton offer is available only to USA cardholders who do not hold a Centurion or Platinum card.

If your account does not show this offer you may instead be eligible for the Starwood transfer bonus.

The standard HHonors transfer ratio is 1000:1500.
The promotional transfer ratio is 1000:2000.

I was not notified. My account is not eligible, but I can see the offer if I look at membershiprewards.com using an Incognito browser window without logging in. It appears that this offer is only available to USA cardholders who do not have a Centurion or Platinum card. If you have one of those cards you should be able to see the Starwood transfer bonus offer instead.

Thanks, it was real time! I tried with 2,000 points first, just to be sure.

Why would you do this if you can transfer to Virgin Atlantic 1:1.35 (35% bonus) and then to Hilton 1:2 for a total 1:2.7?

The Virgin Atlantic to Hilton HHonors transfer rate is no longer 1:2, it is 1:1.5
