Passbook problems (new iPhone).

I used to have my Platinum Delta Amex on my iPhone passbook. I now have a new iPhone, and when I go to passbook.amex.com it tells me I already have a passbook for this card.

Which is true, but there's no option to reload it.

Not sure where to go from here... input will be appreciated. Thanks.

At least on iOS 8 (not sure about 7), you can send a passbook card via iMessage, email or airdrop. Try transferring your pass instead of getting a new one.

The previous device has already been erased, unfortunately.

I have the same issue.

You need to call the contact center to delink your Amex passbook so that you can add it to your new device. The passbook is registered and linked to your old device, hence why you need to delink.

What contact center is this, and how do I reach them?

I should have been more clear. You call Amex for this one. Tell the Amex customer service rep that you changed your phone and that you need your Amex passbook delinked.

I called Amex, they deleted the old passbook, and I was able to add it to the new phone. Case closed.
