Been waiting for a bonus better than the current 25k. Although not quite the 75k of the past, this will do nicely.. Thanks op

Was targeted in June with a 75K offer and the 5k spend. I cancelled this card in April of 2013 and the offer said "cannot get bonus if held the card within the last 12 months" so it is still churnable. Charged my property taxes which cost me an extra $145. When I get my Membership Rewards points I will wait for a 2/1 British Air transfer bonus and hopefully get 160K Avios. Using the Avios at 7500 and $2.50 for a direct flight from Cleveland to Miami on American it will give my daughter 2 years worth of flights back and forth to college including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break.

Yes round trip is 15K which is a great deal, but I'm sure things will change before she's done with school. Even cancelled once and my Avios were returned and my net loss was only the $2.50.

Really just wanted to post to show the potential value in this offer.

How stringent are AMEX business approvals in the sense that you need a legitimate registered business?

60,000 AmEx Biz Gold Rewards

Call 800-567-1083. I asked for the 75,000 offer and was denied because of no RSVP code, then the agent said "You may be happy that I can offer you 60,000 points for $5k sped in 3 months." And I am.

I called 4 different numbers trying to get on the 75,000 Biz Gold Rewards, or even the 50,000 offer and they continued to say I must have the RSVP code. Finally, the third rep suggested calling the above number.

Furthermore:

25k offer: Can't have Biz Gold Rewards in last 12 mos.
50k offer: Can't have Biz Gold, Green or Platinum in last 12 mos.

Since I currently have Biz Plat, I wouldn't qualify for 50k, so this 60k is even sweeter. I confirmed multiple times on recorded line that I was eligible for 60k while still having Platinum Biz.

Are Amex reward points worth ~0.5Cent/Point so 60k would be like $300 when redeemed?
Dont´t have such an Amex yet but after browsing their website looks like all cash-like redemption options (gift cards, statement credit, etc.) have a 1to2 ratio? Is that true or did I oversee something?

Thanks!

Edit: Offer has been claimed

I actually have an offer code that will go unused. It is 50,000 MR points after $5000 spend over 3 months, another 25,000 MR points after another $5000 within the same time frame (essentially 75,000 MR points after $10,000 spend over 3 months). 1st year annual fee waived. PM me if interested.

No one uses MR points for those cash gift cards or statement credits. Other gift cards are 1 to 1 ratio. So easily $600. But if used for travel or transfer to airlines they should be worth much more. THen you should get 2 cents per point at least.

To: Whomever combined the 60k thread with this thread

I see that the title has been changed, though without a Wiki I seriously doubt many users would see how easy it is to get a superior 60k offer that is open to people that already have a Plat Biz or Green Biz card.

I would suggest

- Create a Wiki and indicate the phone number application for 60k and the online link for 50k

AND/OR

- Update the first post to indicate calling the specific phone number will most likely generate the possibility of having 60k.

BTW, this phone number is specific. Calling any other number, including the number on the online application page will not generate the 60k offer. This was explained in detailed by the service rep that provided that phone number.
