I currently see a westjet transfer bonus but I can't find aBA transfer bonus. Could you please share where you see the BA bonus?

Does the fact that RBC is doing a promotion mean that AMEX is less likely to?

I don't think there's a correlation. RBC always has transfers bi-annually without exception to BA, while AMEX hasn't had one this year.

Thanks for that. It's very strange that I can find tons of articles and posts about this but I simply can't find anything official on the RBC website (banking or rewards)

I called into AMEX and asked if BA transfer were still a thing, he said yes. I asked if I should be hopeful for November and the CSR also said yes. He didn't specifically say if there was going to be a transfer but he said there is hope, versus when I called in March they flat out said no.

It is probably not on the RBC website because the offer isn't live yet.

The image posted by ncncyoo suggests that the offer runs from November 1 to December 31 / 2014.

Love Amex gold but...

The lack of a transfer bonus to Avios combined with the end of the agreement with Costco makes me wonder if I should be looking elsewhere for a premium card.

I know I will be cancelling my AMEX plat and Gold after this year. I can’t find a way to possibly keep these AMEX cards in Canada. I’m much better off with an RBC, however i’m going to miss the amazing customer service.

CS just told me- IF there is a promotion, it would take place 3rd or 4th week of the November (though they made it seem like really the end of November).

Take it with a grain of salt- I dont believe most things CS tells me anyways.
