JFK and LAX would be great, but the problem with those airports is where do you put the lounge? There are too many terminals. Thus I kind of doubt we will see Centurion lounges there anytime soon.

Angry Centurion Lounge LGA [future]

According to the DFW Centurion Lounge agent today, AmEx will be building Centurion Lounges next in SFO and LGA and will eventually have 20 Centurion Lounges in the United States. (I was eavesdropping on him talking to another customer, so I didn't ask him how sure he was or for any dates.)

This is huge. Even though I'm sure this is years away, this would make the Centurion network not all that much smaller than the individual DL/UA/AA networks. AA is appx 40 lounges, but that includes 2 each at ORD and JFK and 4 at DFW (i.e. the AC network is really only just more than 30 locations). If somehow they could also partner with DL to allow access even when not flying DL, they will have built an impressive product.

AMEX Club coming mid October 2013 to DFW Terminal D

LGA? While I would certainly appreciate it, there is no long-haul int'l traffic at LGA. It seems JFK or EWR would be more likely as future locations.

It's going to be JFK, not LGA.

According to the DFW Centurion Lounge front desk, it will be LGA.

This also corroborates it: http://thepointsguy.com/2013/12/amex...XPKPso.twitter

LGA. Where exactly? nobody knows. That airport terminal needs to be demolished and rebuilt from scratch. Ain't going to happen so lets see if they place it close to AA/US joint ops.

More locations are coming. SFO and LGA are in the works.

They are, but it's not quite the same. For example, LGA is rumored to be an airside lounge, which will inevitably isolate folks. The card needs to have the perks, or, for the money, people will seriously consider switching to the Chase/Citi equivalents.

Where have you heard that rumor? I've only heard the opposite. Airside makes no sense at LGA, I don't know why they would even bother.

We will have to see .. been a while since I've been at LGA, would be good if someone has seen some construction relating to this news.

LGA lounge is set to be pre-security in the main terminal not airside
