So if I read the T&C correctly, existing cardmembers are not eligible for first purchase 25,000 miles, but are eligible for 45,000 miles after spending $5,000 in the first 6 months. Is this correct?

Also, is there a similar offer for the business OPEN card?

I am wondering if any purchases of hotel, car rental or parking via the Delta web site would qualify as a Delta purchase for the $ 100 statement credit. Has anyone tried this? If it would work, then a $ 5 purchase for parking might get the $ 100 credit. Or, getting $ 100 off on hotel or car rental might be a good value.

I went through the process of booking a day of parking, but stopped just prior to actually providing cc information. It indicated that if booked, the charge would show up as "iSeatz * Delta Travel" on the credit card statement. I don't know if this would meet the requirements for the $ 100 credit.

If anyone has any experience or opinion on this, I would appreciate the comments.

Thanks!

Are you using Explorer? I could not get it to work with Explorer but when I used Google Chrome it worked fine.

Just a possibility.

That is a bummer! You are using the "new" link that is given in post # 442.

I believe the original link is now dead.

Guys,

I am a newbie at this still but... What can I use 70k delta miles for? And is Delta notorious to run buy miles for cheap promos?

Thanks

You'll have 75K miles after the spend requirement.

Worst case scenario you use pay with miles and it's 700 dollars worth of air travel.
