I'll buy it off of you for 85%

No but seriously, you could sell them on Raise or something if you really wanted to. Probably not the best use of the credit, though if you really won't use it, the cash from Raise would be better than nothing.

5/17 - Selected Southwest
5/21 – Purchased $100 e-GC
5/23 – Credit posted for $100
5/23 – Purchased $25 e-GC
5/25 – Credit posted for $25
5/25 – Purchased $100 e-GC
5/27 – Credit posted for $75 (remaining credit)

I should also note that although the credits technically posted on the dates mentioned, it didn't actually show up in my online account transaction view until the day after. So be aware of this if you're questioning why the credits didn't post at the 48-hour mark. It'll be an additional day before it's viewable.

AMEX Premier Rewards Gold Card

7/13 - Selected Southwest as airline.
7/13 - Purchased Southwest $100 e-GC

No credit posted as of 7/18, I am starting to believe this does not work.

The majority of others have seen the reimbursement within 2 days, I have yet to see anything.

Per prior posts in this thread, the conventional wisdom seems to be wait at least 48 hours after making the airline selection to buy the eGC. You might want to try it again.
