Does anyone know if my flight has a 2017 date but I want to upgrade to Even More Space seats in 2016 before the end of year, will this count against my 2016 or 2017 $200 airline credit.

It is determined by the date of the card transaction. Travel date is irrelevant.

Is there a way to charge the upgraded seats on a different card than the original form of purchase (after the booking has been made)? This doesn't seem to be possible on the website.

EDIT: Yes, it is possible. For some reason, it didn't work initially.

Jet Blue credit for flights?

Has anyone had luck getting this reimbursed for flights in 2017?

I wonder if there's a ~$100ish threshold for flight reimbursement? How much did your flight cost that you were not reimbursed for?

Two tickets, appx. $250 each. I have the gold card ($100 reimbursement).

I just purchased a B6 ticket then after purchase upgraded to the 'Even More Space' seats for myself and my wife. 3 days later, the Even More Space seat purchases have all been credited as reimbursements by AMEX. Flight tickets are [rightly] not being reimbursed.

A little long, but odd:

For a jetblue flight for my wife and I coming up in October I wanted to pay with points for half so I transferred points and got two tickets one way on points outbound and then under a seperate reservation paid for two tickets returning (I did it this was so both reservations had both people on it so TSA precheck would carry over to my wife). I forgot I had jetblue selected for our gold card and that is what was default on our jetblue account.

We were charged 4 charges from jetblue: 5.60 twice for the taxes on the points tickets and $137.40 twice for the two plane tickets. (Tickets were $274.80 on one purchase). I looked today and it shows that the two $5.60 charges are reimbursed and then $88.80 (remaining of the $100 credit) is reimbursed.

I'll take it, but things I can't figure out:
- Why the two separate charges for the taxes on the points tickets on the same reservation made with one purchase
- Why the two separate charges for the airline tickets on the same reservation made with one purchase
- I guess why the reimbursement since the transfer of the $88.80. The amount makes sense, but it was for tickets.

Maybe a combination of odd charges made it all seem like fees from jetblue? BTW, just regular seats, not mint, extra legroom, etc.

About two weeks ago, I purchased two one-way tickets on JetBlue. The first of the two flights was on August 6. When I checked in online on August 5, I paid $25 for the Even More Space seat upgrade with my Amex Platinum.

Aug 5: $25 seat upgrade fee
Aug 7: $25 fully reimbursed

Has anyone tried ShopBlue to buy a bunch of JetBlue swag and been reimbursed? If I could buy a power bank or two and be reimbursed, I could overlook the branding.

Gift card?

Didn't see a formal wiki posted at the top, and been browsing through the comments, but many seem rather old. Any current / recent options for utilizing remaining annual airline credits for JetBlue gift cards? Or other similar means of travel? Seems very doable with other airlines (eg Delta, American) and not feasible with others (eg United). Wondering about JetBlue on behalf of a parent who already selected their account into JetBlue for this calendar year. Thanks much!
