As of June 2017 gift certificates are no longer reimbursed. Link to buy gift certicates
According to this thread in the Alaska forum the reimbursement of Alaska Club memberships is no longer a problem. To see how much of your annual credit you've used, log in to AmEx, select the card in question, choose "Membership->Benefits" off the menu bar, scroll down to see the travel credit benefit. (with thanks to Lumpylump76)
Tickets cancelled within 24 hours are refunded back to the card used for the purchase.Tickets for travel dates > 60 days out can be deposited to your wallet when cancelled (this has not been true for some time). Change fees may apply depending on your status. Change fees are waived for MVP Gold and MVP Gold 75k members according to this page: https://www.alaskaair.com/content/mi...ID:MileagePlan (expand "service benefits" towards the bottom of the page). The wallet funds will expire one year after the issue date of the original ticket.

Have not seen credit today, but the benefits page says saved $100, so I expect to see it tomorrow.
Will be switching my 3 plats soon now to purchase $100 increments

Last year, I bought GCs toward the end of the year (charges posted in 2015), and my credits actually posted a few days later in Jan 2016. I wonder if the system thinks I used up my 2016 credits on those purchases.
Hard to call in and ask, since the description so clearly says that they're GCs, but if nothing gets posted by the end of the month, I may be tempted to do that...

On the desktop version of the Amex website, there's a benefits tab that shows how much is left on reimburseable airline expenses.
One of my 2016 year-end gift cert purchases didn't get reimbursed until 2017, but it was treated as a 2016 reimbursement (the 2017 counter didn't go down).
I don't see the equivalent benefits tab in the Amex app.

There is a condensed version, but it doesn't display the remaining balance. In the Android version:
- Login to American Express app
- Tap: Menu (upper left)
- Choose Platinum or Premier Rewards Gold Card
- Tap: Rewards
- Tap: Explore My Card Benefits

One of my AA gc's didn't get reimbursed from 12/23. I think they were having some issues on 12/23 (I've seen some get reimbursed, some not and only from this day). Going to wait a few more weeks though. Prob gonna just take the loss though.

No, but...
This should display a list of reimbursements posted in calendar 2016. It should be easy to tie them to corresponding purchases a few days earlier.
- Login to americanexpress.com
- Statements and Activity
- Type "Airline fee" in the Search box
- Change "Recent Activity" to 01.01.2016 12.31.2016
- Click: GO
