Centurion Lounge Gifts 2016
From time to time (new lounge openings and holiday season for example) the Amex team will have some very nice gifts for Amex card holders upon a lounge visit.

Sometimes they are different depending on the card as well.

Has anyone received a gift this holiday season? or for any other reason?

Thanks for starting the thread. I'm sitting on a plane now headed to DFW wearing my 2015 lounge-gifted headphones and looking forward to seeing if there is a 2016 Centurion gift with my name on it. Will report back in a few hours.

Was just in DFW earlier today and did not receive a gift. But now that I think about I noticed a small paper (looked like a gift card holder maybe) that said "A Gift for You" with the centurion on it. I thought it was just a gift card that you could buy. Hopefully I didn't miss out

They said that gifts are supposed to start today (Wednesday) or Thursday (in Dallas anyway). I will swing by tomorrow.

No gift 12/13

A much more relaxed visit this time. Even though it was 5pm the lounge had plenty of space.

Great service from the gentleman at the front desk.

Night of Dec 14th at SFO
Received a power bank battery for recharging a mobile device. It's actually a pretty nice item, with a capacity of 2200 mAh and the Centurion logo on the black body. Should come in handy with my Android phone.

I was told in the lounge yesterday that they will be giving away Coach wallets on 12/20 at DFW (for Centurion). Not bad but a far cry from last year.

Tx for the heads up. Ironically my Coach wallet just blew up and a new one is on my Christmas list!
To bad i will not be travelling via DFW however.
Agree it's a far cry from the MandD headphones but still a nice gesture. I can't recall ever getting a gift from any other lounge.
