Germany
Confirmed for German Plat holders as well. Hotline was aware of the promotion and said that it was originally for centurion holders only but now valid for "selected plat holders" too. They were willing to send flyer and application forms out as well.
Furthermore, the hotline guy said the promotion was effective from mid of july and will be running until :-:15.02.2012:-:.
cheers

Just to followup my post from yesterday...to recap I didn't get the mailing, phoned cust support, was told to phone travel services, and the cs there said she post out the relevant form.
She was true to her word, form arrived today.

UK Customer Service Say "no problem"
Form is on it's way arranged by email with travel by customer services. Having given up Centurion I was looking for a reason to even keep on Plat. Well done (again!) the FT community for giving me a good reason (despite AMEX not telling me!)

I asked a similar question (without any replies so far).
It seems that the Swiss have been forgotten again.
