USA-issued American Express Platinum and Centurion cards accounts are eligible to have the $100 application fee for the Global Entry program reimbursed. Each eligible card can receive one $100 credit every five years. Additional cards are eligible for the credit if the additional user's application fee is charged to the additional card. I have not seen this before, but noticed it on the Centurion site today:
This is a $100 value benefit
Save time and bypass arrival lines at most major U.S. airports when you return from international travel. Global Entry is a U.S. government program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved travelers. When you use your Centurion Card(R) to apply for Global Entry membership, we'll credit the application fee, and if approved, your membership will be valid for 5 years.

I recently signed up for this program and must say, it's nothing short of awesome! Even if you do not travel internationally on a regular basis, it's worth it for the handful of times you may. The only drawback is that everyone in your party has to be a part of it, otherwise, they will have to wait in the regular immigration/customs line while you fast track it via the Global Entry kiosk.

It's a future benefit that will be announced in the near future. They expect to roll it out in a few months (possibly sooner).
While it will be touted as a new benefit (and something is better than nothing) what it is really is the ability to apply for the global entry program with a waived application fee, that's all.
Anyone (who is a citizen or legal resident, or a dutch citizen) can apply for one, there is no guarantee it will be granted, and the application fee is 100 (waived for US-cents).
If you have a Sentri or Nexus card, there also is no application fee (no need for a Cent card).

This sounds like a great perk. Does anyone know if non-U.S. citizens may apply?
I'm a U.S. citizen living abroad, and my husband is a Danish citizen. We visit the U.S. 2-3 times per year. This would be a great benefit if we could both use it. We both have Centurion (he is the supplementary card holder on my U.S.-based Cent. account).
