That's what I was thinking I would do. On my next trip I would book (as I normally do) a flight with Amex. The day of travel I'd purchase my club access. My only concern is they said "daily". I should just call Amex and ask

What did AMEX say?

I'd be interested in buying a yearly pass as well.

Well, couldn't you buy a day pass with the AMEX for $50, get that credited and then apply the day pass to the annual membership within 30 days?

Yes...But AMEX is only paying $50. The rest of $150 can't be used for such purpose. So you will have to pay the rest on your own for RCC and PC.

Just to confirm what someone else said, I was talking to amex about a different issue and I brought up CO going away and the agent said, but you can use the new $200 benefit to buy day passes to CO Clubs, to which I responded sure, 4X, what will I do the other 50 weeks of the year?

Maybe you could swing a deal with the club to give you credit for $200 off the membership fee if you buy 4 day passes for the same day or maybe multiple days in the same month?

Does anyone know if the $200 can go towards change fees for tickets purchased with a different credit card?

The T&C says the ticket must have been purchased using the Platinum Card

Was wondering if award redeposit fee, such as AA's reinstatement fee of $150, would qualify under this program?

I have two Delta itineraries booked using SkyMiles--so it looks like I won't be able to use any of my $200 for baggage fees/on board food etc. Bummer.
