referral links email expires
I sent email to friends on 8/21/12. email out for 30000 bonus points. yesterday, friends went to apply on line and links said

what's up with that? even email said it expires on september 4th? please help. thank you very much.
amex customer service keeps saying i am not eligible for any solicitation on my account. it's frustrated. I tried to send another link today. It came down to 25000 points.

I'll refer anyone to any Canadian Amex. Of note is the Platinum card - 60,000 points (!) after 3K spending, which is better than the existing 50K offer. Or the Gold / Business Gold cards with 15K / 25K points, respectively. PM me for details! Or use the link in my sig. Thanks.

I can refer anyone to any Canadian Amex card/business card, including spg, Aeroplan and standard amex cards. I'd like to note that my last three referrals got an extra 15k bonus for no apparent reason but YMMV

For UK based members, the Amex Gold card is now once again offering 22,000 MR points for new applicants who have been referred. The card is free for the first year.

You need to spend £2000 in the first 3 months, and not have an existing MR accruing card or had one in the last 6 months. Provided you meant the criteria, and have £2k to spend shortly, then it's a no brainer.
This *just* increased from 12k to 22k, having been 22k before that again, so it is unknown how long it will remain at 22k.
