Hi, I remember doing this in the past, I would look up "referral" in the search box while logged in to amex, and it would show me a link to the refer a friend page, from which I could create an email for a friend to signup and we would both earn a bonus. I have amex plat, had it for more than 1 year.
However, I just now tried "referral", "friend", etc and I cannot find that link. Is the refer a friend link only available to certain members based on some internal criteria by amex? Or is there a different way to find it?

Tried the Rewards path, but it just goes to the page giving options on how to use points, or to see my summary, no refer a friend link there.

This is what I see when I click [Rewards] from the top navigation bar. Bottom right is [Refer A Friend]

Jav2010, i see the same, FYI--from what i gather the referral links haven't been working for a while. guess i'll just have to wait to get the business spg!

Anyone interested in a UK American Express Gold Preferred Rewards referral? With a referral, you get 22000 MR points free, more than enough for two European returns with Avios.
