big difference in award taxes between out bound and return flights

I recently ticketed J award flights with AA points for the following:
MCI-PHL AA
PHL-MIA AA
MIA-SCL LAN
taxes: $5.60

return
EZE-SCL LAN
SCL-MIA LAN
MIA-DFW AA
DFW-MCI AA
taxes: $91.06 each

Can anyone explain why the taxes the return trip are 16 times more than on the outbound? I'm ecstatic that I was able to get these award seats but puzzled as to the huge disparity in taxes.

Easily explained:

Chile has very low taxes imposed on flights entering the country
Argentina has very high taxes imposed on flights leaving the country

There is a slight discrepancy, but here is an estimate of taxes for the route in question via ITA:

USDA APHIS Fee (XA)
$3.96
US Immigration Fee (XY)
$7.00
US Customs Fee (YC)
$5.50
US International Arrival Tax (US)
$18.00
Argentina Custom And Immigration Services Tax International (QO)
$10.00
Argentina Airport Tax International (XR)
$49.00
Argentina Security Tax International (TQ)
$10.00
US September 11th Security Fee (AY)
$5.60

This totals to $109.06

I'm not sure where the ~$20 discrepancy lies. Furthermore, I think AA provides a similar breakdown of taxes when you're making the reservation.

When leaving US you are only paying
US September 11th Security Fee (AY) $5.60

On the way back you are paying
US September 11th Security Fee (AY) $5.60 (or more if you have a long layover in USA)
Chile Airport Facility Charge International (ZQ) $30.00
US Customs Fee (YC) $5.50
US Immigration Fee (XY) $7.00
USDA APHIS Fee (XA) $3.96

+ Argentinian taxes (already mentioned) + US International arrival tax (?)

Actually, $91 in taxes is not too bad.

Some of the US taxes are not imposed on free tickets, which probably accounts for the discrepancies

I figured the bulk of the taxes on the return were being imposed by Argentina.

Thanks for the breakdown. I could not find it anywhere on my ticket info.

Except it's not "taxes" that make the total so high on IB or BA. But anyway.
