Others have recently reported receiving these in another thread here as well.
Seems to be hit or miss. I'd like a set (and have requested so) simply because many people seem to own the exact same carry-on bag as me. There were two others in the same overhead bin on a recent flight and I almost walked off the plane with the wrong one.

You'll never fail to identify your bag again.

But then I'd have to pay for them. I'm a very cheap human being.
Incidentally I received AC tags this morning with my name on them. I'll look pretentious, but at least I'll know which bags are mine.

I suppose if you got the membership, you could let it lapse for a while and then get a new membership and start your year later, but the initiation fee would probably cancel out some of the savings.
The way way I see it is the membership is $355 via executive card and $95 for the AA credit card I was upgrading from. No matter what, I would maintain my AA credit card, so that $95 is a few I would pay anyways.

Has anyone else observed the following?
Additional cardholder of the Citi AAdvantage Executive MasterCard, no AA status but does receive Admirals Club access. However, boarding cards are printing with boarding zone 6 rather than boarding zone 4.
AA website indicates (in fact it lists this by name as a benefit in the boarding zone explanation webpage) that CAEMC cardholders board with zone 4.
I cannot validate with myself (primary cardholder) as I am also EXP, so I wouldn't see this.

My card (primary) has my AAdvantage # printed on it.
I've given cards to my wife & kids, and several cards to friends to use for club access. I have never provided their AAdvantage #, nor was I asked for it. Without the AAdvantage #, how would AA know that the person holding the ticket was the one with the card?
If there's a way to provide the FF # for the additional users, I'll give it to American. That way everyone can more out of the cards.

The T&C of the credit card indicate that Priority Boarding is only available to the Primary Cardholder and up to eight additional passengers if on the same PNR as the Primary Cardholder and the Primary Cardholder's AAdvantage number is listed in the reservation. If your additional cardmember is not a passenger in the same PNR as the Primary Cardholder then the only benefit available to the additional cardholder is the Admirals Club admission.

As a Citi Executive card holder you actually hold an annual membership in Admirals Club (I've been a member since 1986, but switched my membership to Citi Exec card for conveniences offered).
As for the BA and CX Lounges at YVR, Admirals Club membership will not gain you access; one world access rules might, depending on status or class of service and qualifying destination.
If they're under 18, up to two kids are allowed on a Day Pass. I'm guessing the interest in Children's Rooms means well within the age limit.
