Somewhat off-topic: if you are not CK and need to have a lone child or pregnant wife assisted by a red coat, can you pay for this service? (this would be for an LAX departure)
I used this service about ten years agon but back then it was set up by my travel agent who has since gone out of business.

Those types of things are coordinated through Special Services, not Premium Services.
Just call AA and ask the AAgent to note the PNR with pertinent info (UM, wheelchair, etc.). Fees for UMs are available on AA.com. I believe wheelchair service is free since the airport authority pays for it, not the airline.

The young man is slightly mistaken. My company is one of top 3 revenue producers for AA.....we do about 35 million dollars a year (and have 5 CK members...three who rarely fly commercial)

These "high-fare" guys make it possible for you to fly on the cheap without bankrupting the airline. You should be happy they are being retained. Economics 101

The qualifying criteria definitely seem to be driven by the traveller's job. I was Exec Platinum for several years at a prior job. Last year I was Platinum and changed jobs, becoming one of 4 VP's at a smaller company. I just received the CK card...

So AA keeps track of your career changes and just mailed you a card? Like a pre-approved visa card?
Can you provide more context?
Thanks

How do they know? DH is being prmoted to Director soon and will have about 40 consultants reporting to him who all travel heavily. He will actually probably be traveling less due to more in office work to be done now. How on earth would AA know about this?

Concierge Key Invitation (?)
Hi All,
I received "a special invitation to be a part of the most exclusive program, ConciergeKey" ... but while containing the correct address and first name, the surname was waaay far off. The letter provided no contact info, so I phoned the EXP desk to find out if, indeed, I was invited. After explaining the situation to the agent and being placed on hold for 15 minutes while she researched the situation, she very apologetically explained that she had no contact info for the Concierge Key desk, but would call me back within the half hour. She did call and informed me that she explained the situation to the CK folks, and that I would hear from them. A week later, still no reply.
My question is this - should I bother following up? From the looks of the brochure info, it seems little more than a meet and greet/escort service. Personally, I get a little embarrassed when I'm personally escorted onto the plane or wheeled from the gate to security. Also, I often travel with clients, and would just as soon bypass the ribbing. If the meet and greet is truly the only benefit (other than a special phone #), then I'll leave things alone.
Would appreciate thoughts.

ConciergeKey really is something VERY special. The secret phone numbers are absolutely essential if you travel a lot on AA. Just think, if anything ever happens, you can always reach somebody whose job it is to make sure things work out okay for you. Being invited to join CK is a real vote of confidence on AA's part that you truly drive a TON of revenue to the airline, presumably by having all of your clients fly AA.
Would you be willing to scan and upload a PDF of the brochure? I know that many of us would be eager to see how AA publishes the details of this undocumented program.
Thanks!

There was an old thread on Concierge Key here:

I don't really see what's so unique about this program, but maybe that's just me.

Since most of us have the EXP desk on speed-dial, the overall net benefit is: CK saves you the time and effort of having to mash one button.

They automattically re-book EXP's too. I 've seen it happen, over and over this year during irregular ops.

I would just copy the invitation you recieved, attach a letter and mail/FedEx it to AA headquarters !
They will definetely get in touch with you.
Letting a CK membership glitch would be kind of nonsense in my eyes but thats just my opinion. Also it should be attached to your membership already so not sure why the name confusions and stuff but thats why I suggest the letter.
Cheers,

Re-Invite
I've enjoyed the service over the last 12 months - will they re-invite me?
