Tonight's the night - 31 Dec 2011!
It is NYE, and while for many, that means parties and watching the ball drop, it's also the night the AA EQM counters are reset!
So, take a last look, because in the morning, it's likely to be at 0.

Well, whatever status, miles and counters do, best wishes for a healthy, happy, peaceful and rewarding 2012 for all.
(Gotta admit I was inspired by Flyer_70 and did screenshots for the two of us, "regular" and MM.)

I am lifetime PLT and have no aspirations of ever being EXP. Simply do not want to fly that much. The reset means nothing to me. Need to start spending the boatload of AA miles (by my standards) sitting in my account.
Happy New Year, everyone.

Its 12:14 here in Dallas and my numbers are already back to 0. Thus it starts all over again. Here's a toast to new beginnings for AA!

One wonders how they will show (if they will at all) the DEQMs earned in the 2011 flying year? (especially for those who are waiting for thode EQMs to push them over into a higher elite tier)

Let me say, I cannot believe it's back on the hamster wheel tomorrow.
The last couple months were exhausting, and I'm looking at instituting some rules about when I need to accelerate travel when thresholds are not met!

It should show on the January AAdvantage statement--like the DFW-LAX/SFO bonus did last year.
