The Admirals Club in G is currently being renovated and has limited facilities. The bar looked like it was being served out of a large closet and bathrooms are closed which is a huge disappointment, however, hopefully the end product will be substantially better.

Still under construction. The message on the AC Website indicates a Fall 2013 completion.

So, it sounds like the work is largely complete, but I wonder if it is as "full-service" as other Admirals Clubs are? I ask because some years ago, the G club was made into an Admirals Club "Service Center" which was, apparently, code for very reduced facilities and service, to the tune of only beer and wine, self-serve sodas, and not much else. Seems the label is gone, but is the club as complete as others in the AA system?

Thanks - so, does anyone know what was behind the "Service Center" concept that had been put in place there some years ago? At that time, it was listed not as an "Admirals Club" but an "Admirals Club Service Center" - I think it may have been around the time the Executive Platinum 'centers' were located at some airports.

I was in the G ORD club last week. Very nice remodel. Still not 100% completed, as they were still doing some electrical work when I was there, but it is mostly finished. Very friendly staff as usual.
