Since there's not an award booking success thread like on the DL forum (at least none that I'm aware of), figured here's the best place for it. Thanks to all the time and effort of many FTers, I was able to book a trip BOS-JFK-LAX-SFO-HND-HKG-CGK. Everything is in F except for HND-SFO (nothing available right now) and HKG-CGK (no F). While the routing is a little unorthodox, it allows me to see a friend on the west coast, and travel on the exact dates I want. Of course, now there's the waiting game to see if/when HND-SFO opens up in F, but worst come to worst I'll survive.

FT knowledge was particularly useful for understanding MPM restrictions--when I talked to the agent, she was surprised to hear me talk about MPM. Without mentioning that, I think the agent could have easily just priced the trip as two parts (BOS-SFO, SFO-CGK).
