"In fact, the dining vibe of the LAX lounge will be very 'California cuisine' elaborates Roger Barstow, one of the Rockpool Group chefs working with Perry and Qantas on the dining at its international lounges."
Great... we're going to get fed kale, on a bed of kale.

as long as they can change the dreadful, never-changing dishes at oneworld lounge that they are currently offering, anything is good.

I was going by http://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-access
It does seem that Qantas is allowing access beyond the OW entitlement , so would be fine

I'd settle for a lounge with windows - the current Oneworld F lounge has none - and showers that have any type of ventilation. My current strategy is usually to stay in the Flagship Lounge for as long as possible and shower before transitioning over to the Oneworld lounge because it's so crowded and claustrophobic in the evenings.

Some photos of the soon-to-be-gone One World F lounge at LAX:
Some more photos start HERE. I walked out last month about 90 mins before my A380 flight to SYD because the noise level was driving me crazy. Hopefully the new lounge spreads passengers over more terrain and has better noise-reducing qualities.
