Are pre-flight drinks in domestic F a thing of the past?

I usually fly internationally but flew first class BOS-MIA-BOS two weeks ago. On neither flight did the FA's offer water or orange juice or anything prior to takeoff. Is my memory foggy or didn't they use to do this? Has this gone in the wave of cost-cutting or were the FA's just not feeling like it (both were evening flights)? One way, there was an issue of getting everyone boarded but on the other, they seemed to be having a fine time chatting and joking with themselves.

It's just dependent on the individual FAs and individual flight.

Why look if you can just start a new thread. It's easier

No, but apparently the reading of earlier posts and the use of Search are.

I flew ORD-SFO last frtiday in F and then MCO-MIA in F on tuesday and got pre departures drinks on both flights. I had the choice of anything and took a glass of wine on both. It helps if the cabin is boared fully and seated before dep time and if the FA is busy or not.
