If I try to complete this, the form says I can choose E-ZPlan (automatic renewal) or just a 1 time purchase of 4 weeks. Do I need to use E-ZPlan to get the base 1500 miles? I don't think so, but it's not clear. Also odd that the offer does not state how long miles take to post. Thanks OP!

Thanks - just signed up! ^
From the confirmation email I received when I signed up: You have earned 1,500 AAdvantage Miles and they will be added to your account within 6-8 weeks. Plus, you will earn an additional 100 miles every 4 weeks when your subscription automatically renews on EZ-PAY. |

OK, I am slow with the math. Someone humor me...how do you get 1,500 miles for $12.95 to equal .0092 per mile?
My math is $12.95/1,500 = $0.0086 / mile What am I doing wrong? Thanks, and apologies for my ignorance. |

I hope the offer is available in another month. That way I can sign someone else up. :) I guess USATODAY figures they can acquire new customers this way. :) I have been boycotting them since they went from 50 cents to 75 cents. I am doing this for only 1 reason :) |
ahhh...I did not get charged tax in CT

I signed up for this deal about 6 weeks ago... gifted the subscription to a friend in California. The 4 weeks have come and gone. My credit card was charged. My friend got 4 weeks of newspapers. I have not yet seen my 1500 miles.

I just signed up for this today and the confirmation email states the miles will post in 6-8 weeks.

Thanks for informing us of this deal. Signed up for it.
Will this deal be in place for a while, or is it limited to a single time per AAdvantage number? After the month, I thought I might sign up for another month as a gift to my parent's address, if I could get credit for the miles to my FF acct again. |

How did you accrue 200k AA miles in 2006? |
I called up USA Today 800 872-0001 and they told me that for each subscription you get the bonus.
If I decide to go whacky on this and do this a few more times I'll call them a bunch and see if I get the same story. (Making sure I reference people I talk to for back up in case there are problems down the road.) |
