Wow, pretty interesting. From the flow chart on AA.com at that link, it looks like the AAdvantage hierarchy is becoming somewhat more punctuated with intermediate steps where additional benefits are available. Not sure how I feel about that, but I suspect it is a marketing tool to encourage those GLDs to push for 40k EQMs, and once they hit 40k, it's only 10k more until PLT! And same thing for PLTs who reach 75k EQMs.
I'm VERY glad it is not based solely on EQPs this year. 125k is quite doable. But 150k is a bit of a stretch for those of us who are leisure travelers and always pay for our own tickets.... |
Thank you! Registered.

What remains to be determined, though, (and the FAQs do not address) is whether current members who ALREADY hold elite status are entitled to the various milestone rewards that are BELOW their current elite level.
For example, I am currently EXP and have flown 45k EQMs this year. Am I eligible for the 40k EQM (Milestone 1) reward? Or is that only for GLD members who have not yet achieved PLT? (so as EXP I am eligible only for the 125k and 150k rewards?) |

It may be tough for 150k EQP, but 150k EQM isnt really that hard to be honest. Btw, what is the VIP baggage delivery for Gold rewards? Like Five Star Service? Registered. Thank you OP! |

With all due respect, I am already done with 150k EQP. However, not sure if I interpret the same as the other FTers, how are we gonna get six eVIPs when we reach 150k EQP or EQM? So does that mean if I have 150k EQP, I will get two rewards, 30k RDM and 40k RDM in different levels? That is actually the same as the RDM Elite Rewards last year.
It may be tough for 150k EQP, but 150k EQM isnt really that hard to be honest. Registered. Thank you OP! Wow...already done 150k? You must travel for work. Or you must have a lot of free time and disposable income on your hands! Our questions are similar. Hopefully somebody will have an answer. |

Darn....there is going to be a lot more of eVIP inventory competition in the cards for later this year and early 2014..... :( Book your trips early, folks! (as long as you aren't flying my routes!) ;)

This is a great elite rewards program. Reminds me of what United did many years ago. AA just secured at least 125k miles of my flying for this year with this offer. ^
