AA & BA Avios miles together/transfer?
Can you use AA and BA miles together on one PNR or can Avios be transferred to AA?
I applied for the Chase Sapphire card that gave me 50K UR points that can be transferred to either United or BA Avios. Since I only fly AA and don't have accounts in the other 2, I was wondering if Avios can be used along with AA miles (OW benefit?) on a reward ticket?
I'm not sure which mileage account I should open that provides a better value for me-50K United miles or 50K BA Avios. Fwiw, I fly on both domestic and international routes.

"Can you use AA and BA miles together on one PNR or can Avios be transferred to AA?"
No, and no.
Whether Avios or UA miles provide better value depends a lot on the particular redemptions you want to make. BA awards use a distance-based system, and charge for each flight flown. UA awards, like AA awards, are zone-based, with no extra charge for connecting flights.
BA charges very high fuel surcharges on many redemptions, but none on others. Search the FT BA forum for a thread title with the phrase "no fuel surcharge" for more information.
And, of course, you do not have to do anything with your Chase points unless and until you elect to close your Sapphire card.

Do check out both before making a choice. Avios can be used iirc for lower "cost" awards for some shorter flights. I do not know if YQ surcharges are required with Avios, thought they certainly are with AAdvantage miles on BA.
Check the BAEC and UA fora, and think strategically.
