Yeah, I guess. I'm at the point of seriously considering a major payment towards my mortgage. Even with a low rate on that, it's hard to justify keeping it with liquid cash stagnating.

Anyone able to log in to BBVA Compass today? I can't get the site to work.

I really don't want to install more software on my computer, so I haven't added their security enhancements, but by reading the info, that shouldn't keep me from logging in.

And . . . it's because I had Flash disabled.

Seriously? I need Flash to get into a bank account?

And with all of the Flash security problems, you'd think that's the first technology they'd ditch.

What is the best day to take the money away? Right after the miles post, or at the 15th?

I've got to believe that, like any bank giving interest, they allocate miles on the average daily balance over the appropriate period. So it shouldn't matter.

I've never really understood their schedule, though.

Thanks, but I mean I want to walk the money away and close the account. Should I wait until the miles post or the 15th?

Wait until the day the interest for the previous statement period is posted to your account

My miles posted 4/20, and I still got 1 per $10. Plus the interest rate for (I think) balances $75,000 and up is now 0.10%, all balances below that are still 0.05%.

The change there took effect 3/25. Could it be that these miles are for 2/25-3/25? I've never really understood the periods involved with BBVA.

Did everyone's miles post this month from BBVA? Mine usually post like clockwork each month but I still haven't received mine this month. I was curious before I call in if anyone else got theirs already?

Not yet for me, but I don't always have it before the 20th. Maybe Monday?
