There was an earlier code published on this forum. Moderators took it down, even though it was also on boardingarea.com, run by Randy Peterson. I find what is permitted and not permitted to be very confusing.

The previous one was taken down at the specific request of the Gogo folks, and to the chagrin of the particular moderator who did it, as I recall. Regardless of where else it may have been posted, I think that was a prudent move, and not indicative of general policy here.

Cheers.

Yes, I know. It just puzzles me that Randy would have it taken down here, on a site which he manages but no longer owns, but would allow it to remain on a site which he both manages and (I believe) owns.

Perhaps that site didn't receive a request to remove it. It seems like the desire here was not to remove it, and it was only done at explicit request. No explicit request on other sites = no removal.

Cheers.

I see. GoGo should have demanded that it be removed from all websites under Randy's control. Since they only demanded that it be taken off Flyertalk, he thought they were OK with it being on boardingarea.com. Given the relative number of page views, that is a reasonable interpretation. Thanks for the explanation.

That's actually not what I said, but I think we can let this one go

Cheers.

That's nice, but does it work on AA???

In the recent past, there was some other code (more cryptic style) that GoGo promoted on Delta that didn't work on AA at all.

New promo codes?

Anyone know if there are any new free promo codes out there? Tried to use the one posted here a while back a few days ago, and it expired.

Thanks

As EXP I basically had it for free for all of August, but I no longer see the folks in green at the gates w/ the promo code cards. Although I notice on transcontinentals the price used to be $12.95, but lately I've been quoted $9.95. Modest adjustment I suppose
