No, that's actually not the problem here. They can (and probably will) map the QF PE fare to an AA exiting fare class to determine miles with additional business rules. They have done it already in many cases.

So which letters do you suggest they load into their Reservations Systems, they would need at least 4

1: Full Fare Premium Economy

2: Discount Premium Economy

3: AAward Premium Economy

It actually shows that G is availale but this is actually 9th Tier Government. Guess they could merge that with N..but they would still need 2 more.

AA just added Premium Economy Class to Qantas' milage earning chart. 110%of base miles and 1.5x elite qualifying points. Not certain how this works, but some may be getting a retroactive boost - it states that milage accrual was effective from June 1, 2008.

So the earning side is now up to date. Any further news whether there will be any ability to book awards in PE? If the PE award code is Z is AA still booking those as F awards?
